Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Marine Weather iOS app distributed on the Apple App Store. By using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which also governs your use of the app.
Planning aid only
Marine Weather is a planning aid. Open map data and weather forecasts do not replace official nautical charts, certified AIS equipment, or applicable regulations. You remain responsible for safe navigation.
Free and Premium features
Map, weather comparison, storm radar, and marine text summaries are free. Premium unlocks route planning, 12-day wind outlook, AIS tracking, and offline route packs. A 3-day local trial may be offered once per device without charge.
In-app purchases (iOS)
- Lifetime:
route_premium_lifetime— one-time non-consumable purchase. - Monthly:
route_premium_monthly— auto-renewable subscription.
Prices are shown in the App Store before you confirm a purchase and may include applicable VAT. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.
Subscriptions
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
- Restore purchases using the Restore purchases button in the app paywall.
Data and privacy
See our Privacy Policy for how location, cache, and network requests are handled. We do not operate a user account server.

Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
